If One Of Them Fights All the Named Fighters on this era or atleast Most of them.. that includes..

Cotto/Mosley/Margarito/Berto/Bradley/Khan/Alexander/Maidana/Kotelnik/Marquez .. and add them Big Boys Martinez / Paul Williams and ofc Pacquiao (for mayweather) and Mayweather (for Pacquiao)

Puts on a Good / Gutsy / Dominating / Thrilling Performance .. then im pretty sure they could arguably be considered GOAT..

but at this stage of their careers its just not possible

Bob Fitzsimmons was the first great "pound for pound" fighter. He gets cheated a lot on lists of the best fighters ever.

Well, personally, I don't really think one person is a GOAT. There have been great great fighters and I just personally throw all of them (Ali, Robinson, Fitzsimmons, etc.) in one category. So, to answer the TS' question I would say for Pac and Mayweather win a couple of fights against top notch fighters and they would probably be secured in that legendary status.

one of them beat the other..then that guy move up to 156, dominate it win all the alphabelt belts and beat all the top guys...then one final fight at 160, and beat the best guy at 160....i guess if they did that..you could make a case for that guy over Robinson.....or maybe they have to fight another 100 fights and win to get a record like Rays.....not sure....

A time machine would have to be used because otherwise neither man is surpassing SRR.

you basically said what i said..and of course...if its floyd..maybe he can move up to one 168 and then beat the winner of super six/kessler/bute...if floyd beats pac...moves up to 156...has 4 fights their....beats the top guys..moves up to 160..has lets say, 3 fights against the top guys..beats all of them,,,then steps up to 168..then i would say for sure he is the goat.

Fight each other for starters.... thats why they never will be the greatest ever or listed with the greats like SRL & Duran, not in my view anyway.
