What a farce lol. how funny is this. he was as stiff as a board against 'the mummy' henry maske last time out. How can anyone call hill a challenger????? he's not even half of what holyfield was when he fought ibram. My poor german may be misunderstood the stream i have from their channel, but they're hyping him like he's a dangerous ring legend - this is an absolute joke to furnish the german public with this garbage. are there any USA fans here supporting hill? or are they as shocked by this mismatch as i?
I known here in Germany you can tell to the boxingfans whatever you want and they believe it. But i wouldn't say it is a mismatch Arslan is always in top shape but not very talented.
thanks man, never heard of arslan, but by the looks of things he's not doing too well in the first 2 rounds. i might end up eating my words yet.
had a good fight against our eubank, but i thought he was unlucky due to eubank being awkward and not fighting face on
hill is no challenger but the title holder because of some weird rules and mormeck (now haye) holding the unified title or something.
so you wanna argue that hill is looking better than arslan (but getting robbed in germany) PLUS that eubank won against rocchigiani (while rocky got robbed in germany against eubank)?
For some reason hill gets no respect. You do know in the 2nd Mormeck bout that if Mormeck wouldn't have scored that knockdown of Hill that Hill would have battled to a draw with Mormeck :deal who at that time was considered the best crusierweight.
I think this is the last time we will see Hill in a world title fight. He's had an excellent career (a potential HOF career), but he doesn't have much left in the tank.
And your Tommy Hearns avatar reminds me of just how overlooked his win over the undefeated Virgil Hill is. That was a huge accomplishment, especially since he was WAY past his prime and didn't even belong at LHW. I don't think Hill was beaten again until years later when he got knocked out by Roy Jones. Damn, Hearns was amazing.. a true great fighter who's legacy was extremely important to him.
