Just found this out about Maidana

    This is probably already known to a bunch of you but I was just looking up some videos on YouTube and found out that Maidana fought Matthysse 4 times in the amateurs and beat him 3 out of 4 and got a draw on one.

    I know that the amateurs are a different game than the pro's but I actually would have thought that Matthysse would have the upper hand in the amateurs. I'm a big fan of both and I got Maidana beating Pac and Matthysse beating Garcia.

    Just thought this was interesting....

    I think, but aren't certain, that he's just been on Argentinian TV as a "guest" before the Rueda bout

    :lol: My bad, I was watching some videos of Pac from the Pac/Rios press conference, I should proofread my posts..

    I got Maidana beating Broner and Matthysse beating Garcia :D

    Maidana. As in the sort of "stand in the ring, be introduced to the crowd" guest.
