I was more impressed with Golovkin's chin that I was with his power. That said, he's faster than Froch but slower than Ward... where as I think he outboxes Froch to a UD FOTY type, it's pretty clear he doesn't have much to worry Ward about.

A fully recovered Martinez would have the edge in footwork, it's a fight I'm more interested about now.

Ward is barely active and Froch is the only other fighter worth mentioning. Dirrells are not fighting anybody, Kessler is going to retire, Abraham is fighting janitors, Stieglitz is on an Ottke Plan. MW is hotter right now, you got Martinez, Golovkin, Quillin, Barker, Geale, N'Dam, Jacobs, Murray and Pirog is coming back in 2014 apparently. Hell LHW looks better than SMW as well with BHop, Kovalev, Stevenson, Pascal, Bute, Cloud, Dawson, Sillakh, Alvarez and Fonfara.

He's able to control range well enough to make counters whiz by him, I saw him do it plenty of times when Stevens was firing off the ropes. All it takes is a step, similarly to how all it takes for Vitali is to lean back, with his arms also by his side.

And he does it extremely patiently too, as if it were an automatic reaction.
