Yes, you are right, but the *******s keep dismissing the general as biased, even though the argument holds more evident on their side. I'm just trying to show that neutral, knowledgable fighters and trainers have it for Marquez.
A well-known trainer (whose full name starts with Angelo and ends in Dundee) told me two things. The first being that he thought Marquez won the fight somewhere in the neighborhood of 116-112. The second being that he saw shades of Robert Helenius watching Marquez's masterful performance up to round nine. What a ****ing amazing complement directed toward the Mexican warrior. Marquez should be proud on both counts.
- They also aren't swayed by fantasy HBO commentary, or completely BS compu-box numbers. Sadly, the vast majority of the public are.
- and virtually every professional boxer who's commented on the fight, except for a small few that saw it a draw. It's a sad day to be a *******.
People are more in awe that Marquez was able to do it at the age of 38 while moving up in weight vs the guy who was dominating bigger stronger fighters. I think many people have given Marquez close rds due to being in awe of that which is why you hear score cards like 8-4, 10-2 I tried to re-watch the fight eliminating being in awe of Marquez situation as the older blown up WW and any bias and I had it 6-5-1 in favor of Marquez.
Next time, we can ask part time fighters and boxers and unheard of coaches to score the fight instead of professional judges with 200 fights experience.
