Pac clearly lost the fight although he won this round.

I became a pac fan when he did not quit or give up on this fight. Lesser men could have easily hang up their gloves and give up and quit.

Pac is no QUITTER! His face was beaten up black and blue but he never gave up! That's the heart of a true champion!:good

Indeed Morales last moments of glory.

His corner told him before the round started to not do anything stupid, that he had the fight already won. But Morales with his giant heart and balls of steel practically says "Fu*k it" and has his own fun for all of us to have fun.

Gotta have big respect for El Terrible. :good

This thread was started to praise a fine moment in Morales' career. Not for you to spread your nuthuggery. :verysad

Imo, Morales turned southpaw as if to prove he could beat Pacquiao any which way you cut it, when MAB got owned by Pac......

.....in other words, I felt it was Morales way of sending a message to MAB and saying, this is what I do to fighters that own you......

.....at least thats what I believe Morales was doing when he turned southpaw in that final round.

If I'm not mistaken, Morales had turned southpaw earlier in the fight and Pac had some sucess when he did.
Personally, I thought it was stupid that Morales remained southpaw in that final round once Pac repeatedly started hammering him with lefts.

I even think that Morales legs got heavy their in those final several seconds......but Morales refused to turn back conventional even though Pac was nailing him with shots.

Some of you guys might think it macho, I think its stupid.
With a puncher like Pac, Morales could very well have been KO'd in that last round out of sheer stuborness and stupidity!

:rofl Don't make me laugh nuthugger. You have shown your giant bias against Marquez more than once. Anything that puts down Marquez is fine by you and co. Just look at yourself, bringing arguments of a whole different topic into this thread, please man.

Lifetime bet? your ass will be out of here anyway if Pac loses, thats how much its worth.

    BACK ON TOPIC.

Yeah, I agree Divac, it was very stupid of Morales to turn southpaw and continue fighting like that after he was getting hammered. Personally what I found exciting and had me at the edge of my seat is that he stayed with it. He was losing the round sure, but it took it to a nother level of unexpectiveness, where you are not sure if he was gonna finish the fight on his feet or turn the tide in his favor.

Anyhow, if he had it done right he would have won by a wider decision, but most of us still like it the way it was.

Pac looked very tired, Erik was wobbling with some shots but I knew it wasnt gonna be enough to take him down. Erik knew the same thing, he knew he would loose the round but that he wouldnt fall. Still though, he must have been very confident with the judges to give a round away like that.
