Just got through watching the latest Hatton training video

Hatton probably will have major success early, but he will not be able to sustain it for 12 rounds. I see the same thing happening here as what happened in the Mayweather fight. Only Hatton will get away with more this time, but he will still tire during the mid rounds and get caught coming in imo.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Pacquiao behind early, but when Hatton tires and that gap is not being closed as quickly, Pacquiao will have time to think, and he will pick a few counters to catch Hatton on the way in.

 

Those videos just confirm what we already knew: that Manny is A LOT faster than Ricky.

 

maybe someone can get a sparring video of hatton up. he looks really slow here but im sure its because the press folks are crowding him like a mob. ricky is quite the quick footed dude and its deceiving to just watch him hit the bag. he explodes forward like a flash when he attacks and that will give manny the most trouble. if floyd sr. takes that away from his game, ricky's gonna get sliced up proper.

 

If Hatton can pin down Manny on to the ropes in the early rounds, we could be in for a shock 4th/5th round K.O win for Hatton if he can land them bombs to the body. Manny will have never felt the power of a true 140 prime top fighter to the body or even for the matter to the head.

Hatton's grunts sound like a hybrid angry tasmanian devil and a hyena. He looks in good shape. He will be near his peak form by the last week of April.
