Just had 200 on Adrian broner at 3-1 good bet or not

Horrible value now. I think Broner opened at about 5/1, now he's down to just +245 at my book. This is when you clean up on Mikey, who is up to -280. 3/1 isn't good enough for Broner. Maybe I'll do the Dwyer hedge with Broner by KO, if better than 5/1.

 

This. Broner is way too inconsistent for me to bet real money on him. After Broner dropped a decision to a Shawn Porter that showed me he isn't that serious. Broner with his handspeed and ability should've did a number on Porter, but lost by a wide margin.

 

the fact that he has got down to 140 and looks in great shape tells me that he's serious, He was never a 147lbs fighter but at 140 he will beat up garcia

 

Why would anyone be a fan of Broner? The guy is pure street trash. If you think he's someone to look up to, chances are you're street trash too.

 

If people change who they bet on based on odds changes, they gotta stop betting right now. Just because the odds of a bet change, doesn't mean the actual odds of someone winning changes.

Broner will win, you'll be a happy man. I said months ago Broner would win and everyone laughed, now more and more are going with broner.

people that make these odds have insider information, they generally know everything about a fighter at any given time, whether they are making weight, there health status, girlfriend situation, partying activities, , the house can give these odds because the house dont loose, they know things.

 

I once heard you should bet on who you think is going to win and nothing more (unless the return is too small of course). I learned a long time ago when making predictions that just because someone stands to put up a good fight doesn't mean they're going to win.

Nobody beat Floyd even though he had some difficult fights

Upsets do happen of course, but make sure you pick who you think is actually going to win and not just who might bring you more money on a bet.
