This thread contains some spectacularly bad betting advice. Of course odds matter, that is not up for debate.

I am no sports betting millionaire and I actually liked AB in this fight when he was 5/1 but I missed that price and sat it out because I didn't see value at the shorter odds. ££££ saved = ££££ won.

This forum is useful for betting on boxing purposes (if you can sift through the various biases) with a good few posters who seem to know what they are talking about and are sharing their learned knowledge for free. I know plundering this site for info has been profitable for me so far.

Bet365 has Floyd as tight at 1/5. That's 20% return on just about as sure a bet as you can find. At some point I thought "nah this is a WWE fight and just a show, anything can happen" but then I realize that Floyd comes from a boxing family, that is entrenched in boxing culture, and he won't let that 50-0 slip away.

So that's an easy bet, and I think I'll be putting about $3000 on it.

 

The term 'Free Money' gets banded about every time someone has a strong hunch but really this is the closest thing to truly free money I've ever seen. I have yet to put anything down but like yourself will be hammering it with every £ I can lay my hands on before the price shortens (probably a week out). Anybody with even a passing interest in boxing who doesn't bet the proverbial farm here either loathes money or is allergic to winning. Like yourself I won't get too fancy trying to predict if Floyd decides to stop him or not, I think he probably will but just in case I'll keep it simple with any Floyd W. Enjoy your winnings!
