Floyd won't do anything that ambitious and we all know it. But, hypothetically, if he decides after 36 years to genuinely take on the best boxing has to offer at this late of an age, he still falls short of GOAT.

I don't believe Floyd has the chin to do that. He doesn't have a weak chin, but he doesn't have a Hopkins chin either IMO. Give Floyd another year or two and the spaghetti-legs that afflicted him against Corley and Mosley will be unable to regain their rigidity after shipping a big shot.

Hes been taking on top ranked fighters for more than a decade.

This idea that he hasnt taken in the bst at his weights is a myth.

    Pacquiao is an unfortunate ommission.

No fighter in history fights EVERYONE in their era.

He certainly never ducked anyone, unless you believe that bull**** about him ducking Margarito.

Hes got about 6 HOF'er in his resume already. Not exactly the actions of a ducker.

What I took from the big shot by Mosley was how good his recovery was, yes he was hurt but he was composed again and back to his game plan in a matter of seconds.

Highly doubt it, he lacks the mobility. Always said so. But it would be crazy.

You are trolling right? How can he make a claim to being the greatest ever unless hIs resume looks like this:

    W Lebedev at cruiser
    W Dawson @ 174
    W Ward @ 168
    W Golovkin @160
    W Martinez @160
    W Canelo-Trout winner @154
    W Guerrero
    W Cotto
    W Ortiz
    W Marquez
    W Hatton
    W Corrales
    W Castillo
    W Hernandez
    -----
Even then, it doesn't compare to the names on Henry Armstrong's 4 division weight climb where he DID beat Ceferino Garcia for the MW crown.

It's a fad. Some fans expect boxers to move up to uncharted weights even if what's available there isn't good:conf

But it would be an awesome thing if Mayweather went on and on.

The only way floyd could have been goat is if he beat pac 3 years ago. The omission of pac from his resume is quite damaging in terms of goat claims.
