Yeah, because people will say that DLH still had a lot left in his tank.

Just felt I needed to put this out there. I do not like Max Kellerman. He really sucks.

Both Cintron and Paul Williams have recently said that thay want Cotto next, why waste time with unworthy challengers like De La Hoya? Cotto should go for unification.

Well said. I don't get the "walking into big fights" trick that DLH pulls. Real fans know he has not earned the right, but casual fans think it's great to watch DLH take on everyone around his weight. By the way when was the last time DLH gave an exciting fight worth the ppv price?:huh

Agree. This is getting ridiculous. Who even wants to see Oscar and Floyd sparring again anyway?

    Oscar won't beat Cotto.

oscar as more then a shot here, I think ppl are sometime real funny in here, yet he as no chance, he dont deserve a shot bla bla and ****in bla, but he gace Floyd mayweather possibly his hardest fight(beside castillo 1) and is the only one in recent time to realy test him, some of u have actualy no clue whatsoever , of course hes no longer the fighter he once was but hes still a top fighter.

People love to hate Oscar but there is no denying talent and Oscar's got it. This will be another showcase fight for Oscar much like the Mayorga fight

I understand its all about the money these days, but I think it is pathetic to see people buy their way into big fights and championship fights, while the champs fight once a year in a money making catchweight fight while ducking their mandatories.

The #1 contender has lost all its significance thanks to guys like Oscar De La Hoya and this money making frenzy.

I love Oscar as a fighter and I respect what he has done, but if he wants to fight the big fights, he has to beat some people and work his way back up like everyone else.

TY kellerman for being captain obvious. Everyone was already saying DLH cotto at 154 long long ago.

If Cotto boxes, he takes it easily.

If he decides to trade... he runs a big risk... but I think he takes it anyways.

Floyd vs. Cotto will happen next after that.

its the only way cotto can force himself into a mega fight with pbf. hope he makes oscar get down to 147 and punishes him to the body. will be a good fight. although oscar keeps losing he's been competitive in these big fights. im hoping miguel batters him into retirement and we get huge late 2008 fight with pbf

is this gonna be for Cotto's welterweight belt or will it happen at 154?

Delahoya can win at 154...but there is noway he makes 147.

Very true the danger is that DLH lands the left hook and its all over for Cotto. I say take the fight but not at any catch weight period. 147 or nothing. Then if Cotto can dismantle Hoya it will make the PBF fight larger than it already is, Hoya represents a nice payday for Cotto. the catchweight is the tricky part.......
