Just how did Khan absorb all that punishment from Maidana?!

Khan takes shots better once he is hurt for some reason. His punch resistance isn't great as has been seen, but once you have him hurt, he doesn't just crumble...his heart gets him through the majority of the storm. Somewhat similar to Juan Lopez.

 

Because Maidana, and his power, are disgracefully overated, obviously. Especially on this forum.

Morales said it too. He doesn't hit as hard as people think.

 

his legs went, talk to any fitness coach, mention khan fight, they will all say his legs went because of a overly long training camp. khan camp were over confidant in believing khan was good enough to overcome that.

also left hit his neck, even granite chin hopkins and kessler went down from simple punches to neck and back of the head area around the ear

 

also he ran vs maidana, where as he brawled with garcia when hurt

 

Maidana is so crude in his approach that Khan was able to capitalize on NOT getting kayoed, Garcia is not crude and was able to get the job done.

 

He wasn't as wild and got worn in...

By the time Maidana landed the big shot there wasn't AS MUCH power on it

Also I think Ariza did a better job than Tabares... Tabares is just a health,fitness and nutritionist in my eyes.

Khan should have worn Garcia down for 6 rounds
He didn't respect his power like he respected Maidana's

Also Garcia's best punch is his left... Khan fails to protect his right side so Garcia's punch was very effective
