extracurricular, erm, 'freedom fighting' activities? From what i remmeber he was always a verty skilled but boring fighter. Certainly seemed to have a lot more natural ability than the Benn and Eubank sprogs trading off their Father's past glories. With proper backing, management and not being a' freedom fighter' could he have reached the top?
No, I don’t think so. I used to know the Hayemaker gym pretty well when he was coming up and I don’t think he had enough substance and that showed in his defeats. That stupid nickname he gave himself was also very cringe.
I use to like him, hands down fighter who tried to be Roy Jones, was always a KO waiting to happen. Absolute scumbag however. Is he still spewing extremism?
I remember watching him boxing in a UK vs US Contender series match up which he won but was hanging on in the last round. Despite having decent reflexes, his game lacked serious fundamentals. He was delusional, a KO waiting to happen.
He's branched out into benefit fraud too https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4977528/amp/Boxing-champion-turned-Islamic-hate-preacher-faces-jail.html
Got as far as he could for me. Shocking fundamentals would have seen him get exposed above domestic level
Small had no defence. Hall let himself down losing really. If Hall had he’s head straight, he’d have won
