im interested in peoples opinion here

i think his powers great, but the fact that diaz and oscar were able to take so much of it makes me think twice

if they can take it, then maybe cotto can too

no need to slag me off either, im not trolling, simply posting something of interest to me

it seems to me that when manny wants to punch with his power he opens himself up in which with cottos timing can cause problems for him

I disagree about Oscars chin. MP would have KO'd him and he knew it. thats why he never got up to fight the next round. He didn't want the entire world to see him eat the canvas and tarnish the Golden Boy.

You're wrong Hatton wasn't lunging into it. Re-watch the fight.

Hatton was lunging into the checkhook punch from Mayweather.

Ok fair enough, it sometimes seems on here that people are starting threads to make the *******s say stupid things like 'he would KO Sugar Ray Robinson' etc etc. Which then causes more people to hate Pac.

MANNY POWER is no different than JMM. JMM WHEN HE FIGHTS he gets these boxers that are quicker than manny's opponents lately HATTON DAVID DIAZ and OSCAR.SLOW MADE to order for manny thats why people think manny has a lot of POWER.LATER on in the future there will be a fighter that will be A CHAMP that will fight in 3 or 4 divisions. and clean thhem OUT.then PEOPLE WILL KNOW that MANNY WAS A VERY wellPROTECTED and MANAGED FIGHTER

Dude when Diaz went down it looked like Pacquiao killed him. His whole ****ed body bounced on the canvas. And when Pac KTFO Hatton, Hatton made a face like he was taking a **** the size of a football.

Oscar quit before Pac made him taste the canvas. In the 7th round, Oscar held on to the ropes.

    - Diaz had never been stopped before

    - Oscar had been stopped once by a bodyshot from a middleweight now fighting at light-heavyweight. (Peak Mosley & peak Tito couldn't floor Oscar in 36 rounds)

    - It took Mayweather 10 rounds to stop Hatton, and Tszyu couldn't manage it at all

    - Pac dropped Marquez four times in 24 rounds

    The obvious bottom line:

    Pac's power is serious.

Pac's P4P the greatest puncher in boxing history.

A flyweight knocking out guys like De La Hoya and Hatton... former junior middleweight and welterweight champions... That's #1 material imo...

pac's power is enhanced by his speed, uncanny timing and accuracy. the punches that hurt you the most are the ones you don't expect and/or can't see coming.

Maybe this was posted already but ive read that its more of the speed and the accuracy of the punch that delivers the explosive power. I think its called Pyometrics or something like that.
