Do you ever believe had the stuff you write? I presented plenty of logic and facts, your reaction was fanboy excuses. Now that is dishonest. You call for manners then you show none. My points in post #1, which no one is saying are wrong tower over you and I even allowed room for a fanboy's card with Tiberi! Toney is not a top boxer, he was out boxed by the best and even with contender types.

Yes I do think Toney was a top 25 MW of all time, he's just way over rated here, and this thread shows it. Its pretty clear I know more about boxing that you do, you even said so when you could not recognize many of the fighters on another posters on George ( Who doesn't think Toney is top 25 at middleweight's ) list. Try arguing with him, that would be funny,

George is young, he didn't even think Kid Chocolate is top 150 Pound for pound.

I never said McCallum could NEVER beat GG. STOP LYING. Show this source. You remain a disgrace, lying to gain what you view in your small mind are points. On McCallum I do think he edged Toney in their first fight. I scored it here, round by round.

You have something wrong with you. Toney was roided up and mostly lost at heavyweight. Therefore his accomplishments and gift decisions there ( Oquendo ) should not count. - Mendoza

Do you know how to read?

Toney was roided up and mostly lost at heavyweight. Therefore his accomplishments and gift decisions there ( Oquendo ) should not count.

I THINK THE ROIDS GREATLY AIDED TONEY TO COMPETE AT HEAVYWEIGHT. Go it?

Oh my, Oquendo was clearly robbed.

1 ) Did you see the fight?

    2 ) Post your scorecard.

You " thought Toney edged Oquendo? What fight were you watching?! Yes, I saw it. You have zero ability to score a boxing match. Toney up 3 points on Sam Peter? Get out of here.

    • Versus viewers had Oquendo winning in the scoring 115-113
    • Versus blows report: Oquendo 222/740 30%, Toney 154/491 31%.
    • Versus announcers had Oquendo winning 116-112.
    • Most Boxing writers had Oquendo winning 116-112

Almost everybody but but you shares the same opinion. Oquendo won it. Your a biased fanboy who cant score a fight, and are now afraid of me asking for your cards or who do you think won.

For example, who do you think won Golovkin vs Canelo 1? Quack, quack quack, you can't even man up and say it! See my point?

I would dearly love to see your scorecard for this fight too. Thanks.

you score every close fight against Toney and view everything from him in the most unfavourable light. At the end of the day, you are just another hater. And you can't probably deal with the fact that Toney is a greater fighter than GGG

Which one Tiberi? I told you 5x I liked your card except for round four and offered many times to score that round with you. You keep going silent.

This thread is now about people who cant't a fight, and fanboys clutching for straws, and sadly some liars. If a poster is lying about another's quote to make a point and can't back it up A mod should tell him to knock it off.

I showed you the cards and the punch stats. Everyone thinks Oquendo won it, except you a Toney fan boy! Way Proff o you have to present Toney as the winner? Show it. I'm laughing right now and have to prep for the morning.

    Mendoza,

    You don't possess any logic.

Most of the guys who Toney struggled with were elite level guys themselves, who also beat many other top level fighters.

    Toney was a top boxer.

Top boxers aren't robots who are always perfect.

Top boxers have off nights and struggle at times.

Engage your brain and look at the evidence:

Toney struggled and got a gift against Tiberi.

Yet Toney beat: Reggie, Nunn, McCallum, Littles, Williams, Barkley and Jirov etc.

That is the evidence that we have.

Again, if Toney had've been at his ABSOLUTE BEST against a career C level fighter, then he wouldn't have been able to have beaten those guys that I listed.

That is the very definition of the word LOGIC.

Toney was a top boxer, but one who had flaws.

Now if you don't think that he did have an off night, then you are effectively saying that Tiberi was better than all of those guys listed.

So please clarify if that's what you are saying.

Regarding excuses, YOU HAVE SAID that BJS struggled with Akavov due to a loss of focus.

    YOU HAVE SAID THAT.

So why is it an excuse for Toney, but a legit reason for BJS?

The gift that keeps on giving.

The only positive thing that I can say about you is that you literally make me laugh out loud.

If you think that Toney is a top 25 MW of all time, then he simply HAD to have been an exceptional fighter overall.

    Think about it.

How many more times do we need to discuss what I said regarding George's list?

I didn't say that I didn't recognize many fighters from his list.

    I said that I didn't possess in-depth knowledge of 4-5 of them.

You have been caught out using Boxrec which you will NEVER live down on here.

Your comments regarding Reggie Johnson will haunt you until you hang up the keyboard.

    You didn't make a typo.

You simply pulled up his record and went straight to the loss column.

You don't have any great knowledge of the sport, and you debate on emotion without ever allowing for circumstances and applying context, unless it's concerning a fighter who you're not trying to denigrate.

You said that Mike couldn't have beaten GG because he lost to the 5 best fighters he fought.

Yet on another thread, you said that Hopkins would have beaten GG.

All of which means that you are completely dishonest, where you debate based purely on your emotions.

If it's a fighter that you like, then you will allow for circumstances.

If it's a fighter that you don't like, then you won't.

That's how it is with you.

Mike had better wins than Hopkins did at MW, with less losses.

Yet you weren't even interested in hearing a breakdown of how Mike could have beaten GG.

You simply dismissed it and then went into overdrive to try and downplay Mike's achievements and ability, because he was one of Toney's best wins, and you hate the fact that people rate Toney higher than GG.

You will simply attack the resume of any fighter that you don't like.

You are the guy that goes and makes sister threads if things aren't going your own way.

This thread is the perfect example.

The ONLY reason why this thread exists is because you wanted to talk bad of Toney, in order to make you feel better due to the outcome of the Toney-GG thread.

    You are an infant.

    Mendoza,
An unexceptional former MW couldn't survive against world class HW's.

I've never even mentioned the Oquendo fight.

Indeed, caught up in lying, major contradictions, not watching fights and relying purely on statistics, usually boxrec without applying any logic or context. That is the kind of poster we are dealing with.
