Yes as said a very fit boxer,plenty of skill and very determined.Was a very good amateur also.I would say he was a bit of an overachiever as a world champion,but worked hard for what he got.Ironically enough,seemed to be well handled but that may not have been the case.I think he was a grammar school boy,chess champion,but also had street smarts.Dont think he earned like he should have.He seemed to have charisma in abundance,but he fell on hard times,hope the lads doing ok now though.

He wasn't accurate from range which was a problem in that he needed to fire off rapid shots to develop into a deadlier finisher wanted to be the British version of 'hitman Hearns'.
