    Man what a waste !

80 percent of it was everyone grandstanding about how important they were in putting the fight together, people we didn't really need to hear 10 minutes each from

Only a tiny bit of time with the fighters, no questions from media

    Ridiculous !

I cannot stand ellerbe and arum wasn't much better

    Agreed. Total garbage.

but you have all these ret@rds on this message board reading into it too deeply, talking about who is scared and sh*t. I never usually watch pre fight **** because its just that. Some people get off on believing that 2 fighters hate each other and I don't need that. Its a sport and a business...not the street or the club.

never thought i'd say it , but after seeing that, i'm glad for the UFC pressers where just Dana White talks briefly and then they get to talking with the fighters

if anything i wanted to hear more from Roach and also hear from Floyd Snr

but to have Showtime, HBO and the MGM grand all take up so much time was stupid

Let's just hope that the main event is not as boring as the presser.

What did you expect? Ali reciting poems and predicting knockouts? Tyson promising to make someone his *****? Manny and Floyd were told to be corporate and they did what they were told. Sr. was muzzled for the same reason. Welcome to the world of huge multinational media companies and their carefully managed superstar employees.

What happens in the ring on May 2nd, cross your fingers, will be out of CBS and Time Warner's control. Let's hope anyway.
