Just how vulnerable will Froch be to Kessler's offense?

    Kessler 117-110 Crotch.

Kessler will land like 500 flush jabs.

Honestly it will be realtively interesting im sure, I cant wait to see it, but Froch is perfect for the generally textbook Kessler Imo.

Froch won't mind taking plenty of punches in this fight and he will be able to take them and keep on coming. Kessler is a big puncher, yeah, but Froch has an immense chin and punches he can see coming won't faze him.

I see this being a war. Neither man will fight defensively and the question is, can Kessler handle that type of fight? Does he have the heart needed to beat someone like Froch? If he does, he will win, but Froch will test that heart.

Not sure Kessler has the ability or legs now to put on another 12 round Andrade style clinic. So Froch probably has a chance to land his big shots and turn this in to a war.

You've got to favor Froch in a tear up.

No. Froch is not tailor made for Kessler. Kessler does have the conventional/orthodox style advantage over Froch, but I have to see the fight. I'll post who wins after I analyze the two...

The only way i see Froch beating Kessler is by KO'ing him. And the chance of that is very small. Kessler might be mentally down, but if he can just pull the trigger, he will own Carl Froch anyday. There are many others i see Froch beating, just not the type that Kessler is. If he doesn't, i guess we just overrated him from the start. I mean, if he can't beat a guy like Froch, who is tailor made for him, who can he beat other than the B-, c+ fighters?

That's it right there. Will Kessler chicken out?

Ward beat Kessler, i'm not denying that. But he threw a shitload of blatant, intentional headbutts and clinched whenever Kessler got close and started going to work. Ward is an excellent fighter and at this point, i'd make him the favourite in the SuperSix, but you can't deny the nastyness of his fight with Kessler..

Kessler is going to have a field day. Froch's face wont be able to take the jab and straight rights all night long so i predict a KO for the Dane.

My thoughts exactly. We know Kessler never has a plan B and once plan A isn't working he gets mentally beaten. Froch from the first second till the end of the bell is full on search and destroy and nothing seems to deter him. I am not sure sure Kessler has the heart.

No one knows, but i will bet my money on Mikkel Kessler in this fight, i think it will be a Andrade fight, where Froch in the early rounds realizes that he does not have what is needed to win against Kessler, and his only chance is to deliver the KO punch, i dont even see Froch being able to hit Kessler, Kessler will outbox him with his jabs and combinations, the two fundamental weapons which he masters to perfection, Froch is tailor made for Kessler, i dont see it go the distance...

It will all come down to Froch's ability to take a punch. Kessler will be landing and landing a lot at will, I wonder how many punches Froch will land. If Kessler loses this then he's done with, if he can't beat Froch obviously the weakest in the tournament then he's better off out or try to move up to light heavyweight and see if his performance will get better there.

If you'd posted this 2 or 3 years ago i'd agree.

However, Froch has never been beaten and hardly ever been hurt. Kessler has now lost twice, was cut to shreds in his last fight and barely won a single round. What's he going to be like mentally? What's he going to be like if Froch is still standing infront of him in round 9 or 10?

Froch will win this in my opinion. Cuts will probably play a part. Kessler has a lot to prove and i'm not sure he has it in him anymore.

Does Kessler punch harder than Jermain "bow and arrow" Taylor?
