Because he can use the same god damn excuse that other filthy fraud Amir Khan used when he moved up in weight to duck Brook to fight Canelo and just say he wasn't his natural weight when he loses.

Ward has too much too lose against GGG, with kovalev he has an excuse and he isn't the favourite, so less pressure.

You really are grasping at straws, now you're comparing Khan to Ward. In your logic GGG is better than Kovalev, one is a proven fighter with great wins on his resume and the other doesn't. OK:eyebrow2:

How can you say Kovalev is a less dangerous fight that GGG. Prove it.

Don't hold your breath. The only way to prove it is for Golovkin to actually fight an A level opponent. That won't happen until GGG is months away from retiring.

They're both future ATG's, you do realise GGG has hurt kovalev in training several times, and John Jackson can confirm it.

If ward lost to GGG in that weight class his rep would be completely finished. Ward is a smart businessman, I give him that he's played his career shrewdly ducking the best and taking the big risk fights when absolutely neccessary.

He can take a loss on this one with some good ole fashioned welfare excuses that his fanboys will lap up all day every day.

They'll say Ward moved up too quickly, ''kovalev got him when he was past his prime,'' ''the lay off took too much out of ward''
