That's the price for being "The Scariest Man Who Scares Everybody, Old People, Small Children, And Cute Furry Animals, In Boxing." ..........Having to hear a fighter get talked about like he's Godzilla tends to wear on certain people. I put it in quotes, because, this is what the people say.. "Exposed."

You should be nervous! Big fight a few days away for Mr. Will. Just remember, win or lose, it IS Winky Wright. No shame at all. :thumbsup

Thats true. I think u were the only one left after the first Quintana fight. I made some threads after that fight and none of the PW fans that called me crazy for picking Quintana showed up and if they did they said he was exposed. YOu stuck by ur boxer. thats pretty admirable around here. Alot of people tend to turn on a fighter when they lose.
    very childish...

lol true.... but still blame crazy ass max kellerman for that... paul williams actually has a new ring life on hbo

www.hbo.com/boxing (shameless plug for my man :D ) and george peterson admits it himself that they never gave paul williams that nick name .... he earned it and other people gave it to him

    arreola vs jameel mcline...

not sure if its just them 2 and thats it or what...its in vegas so i doubt it but thats how they did the verno phillips fight so well see

If he beats Winky IMO its quite an accomplishment. Obviously not a 100% winky but far from shot. He lost to Hopkins at 168 ooo big deal.

I always get nervous a few hours before the fight until the bell rings when one of my favorite fighters is in a big fight. At the moment though, I am totally confident Paul is going to beat Winky!:rasta

Hard to find some fighters just like Williams. So no surprise. Winky wouldn't need one, he fights the same nearly every fight. Give or take a few.

yeah haha i remember that..... i watched it at a bar and as soon as they announced the decision i just threw 20 dollars in the air ( for my wings and lemonade) and just walked out of the bar.... i was way to upset....

but im not a sell out fan... i dont care if my favorite fighter loses fights .. ill support until the end haha.. i just wont have as much to say because he isnt as big a threat as he was before

I was a fan of Williams somewhat up until the Quintana fight. When he lost, I lost some respect for him for not cutting right, not taking the fight serious.

When he came back with a vengeance against Quintana I regained some respect for him. Slowly but surely after that I started talking about him more and more. Then when he beat Andy and Phillips I became a big fan.

You are not alone. I get soo stressed and tense sometimes I'm asking myself why I even put myself in the situation. :rofl I'm going to literally die watching boxing some day. I start having anxiety attacks and ****. :rofl I love all these fighters waaay too much for my own health. Literally. They're like my kids out there fighting.
