No when this fight was talked about in circles which BTW was years back i figured Teo would be too good for him in multiple ways,

But most others differed in opinion, when was it that Taylor ever not look inactive in his performances, even in his wins he was just scrapping on to win & looking very underwhelming in the process, you could also tell the guy was slow, very flat footed & lacked those high level skills & i didn't even watch his last fight so when there was an outrage on it being a robbery i wasn't surprised.

 

Still an L, doesn’t matter. And I hate Lopez.

Here in boxing, according to some, no one ever wins anything, every result is just someone "getting lucky".

Yeah rd 10 was a clear Taylor rd, simply because Teo took the round off, probably conserving energy for the final 2 rounds to finish strong which he did.

I think rd 2 was very close could of gone either way, compubox says Taylor landed one more punch, I gave it to Teo but could see it the other way it was that close.

Rd 4 to me was Lopez's rd. Taylor did well in the first minute, Lopez did well in the 2nd minute but Lopez stole the rd right at the end when he made him stagger back onto the ropes and unloaded. Plus Taylor was wobbled earlier in the rd too.

But even if we agree with your scorecard, Lopez put a beatdown on Taylor in the final two rounds to make it an emphatic win. Sometimes the scorecards don't always reflect the true nature of a fight, one fighter might win on a landslide but in reality it was competitive throughout and sometimes a fight might seem close on the scorecards but one is the obvious clear winner, because one man is left just holding on and trying to not get KO'ed having taken more punishment throughout the fight.

 

We need the rematch.
