    Thurman at 5'7 and not very built, is not a big Welter. Cintron, De La Hoya, Forrest, Jones, Trinidad, Hearns, Leonard, Robinson, Williams, Breland, etc were big Welters.

    He is smaller than Spence, who is also not the giant welter boxing fans make him out to be. The guys I mentioned were giant welters.
