    Funny you should say that I mentioned my infamous stabbing incident to a fellow worker in front of her and we got onto the subject of how New York has become a lot more safer these days, as the guy I was talking to responded by saying he got stabbed in New York many years ago!

    An old drinking buddy of my Dad's was a descendant of Tom Cribb's and had both those names. His older brother Harry had a stock pin that belonged to the pugilist.

    If I met someone, who claimed he/she was related to Jack Dempsey… wouldn't my first question be: In what way? I can't think of a single thing, I would ask before that!

    No I was having a light chat, she didn`t think it was a big deal, she just said she`s been told her father done a DNA check, she was kind of vague and we were just being light and laughing about it, I didn`t want to be over familiar, I was just pulling out nettles at the park we volunteer at, I`ve never spoke to her before and was talking to her and some other guy there, we only said a few things, I was just a little shocked, but you never know who you`re related to from way back in the past, do you? Someone could be related to Jack the ripper etc.

    I can`t remember, we were talking about the American flag, the union Jack the hammer and sickle on the Russian flag, I just can`t remeber, she just said by the way...
