I met him in 2006. Given all the bad press he gets for acting like a prima donna, I was surprised about how down to earth and cool he was with his fans. He even took a moment to recognize me a few days later at a weigh in. Hell of a nice guy.
TWAT!!! Only live round the corner, used to go there a couple of years ago. Has robbie butler still got it?
Mate, he was a real gent. Was prepared to stay there all day!! He answered every question honestly. When I were getting my pic with him, the photographer wouldn't let my mate get on the pic until Roy stopped him and got them to let my mate in the ring. Proper genuinely nice fella. Spoke about how God influenced him and how to use God to focus and how the kids should stay out of trouble
I don't know the fella's who have it. Just know that Alex Forman is the lad who sorted it and owns it with two others
One thing I can say about boxers is that I have never meet one that wasnt a class act. Cant say that about most pro athletes
most boxers i've met are some of the most mild mannered, mellow, easy going, and affable people not just in sports but anywhere. coming from a pac fan i gotta admit even floyd was a nice guy when i met him. he was very gracious and made sure everyone got a photo op or autograph or a chance to speak to him before he left.
Its funny because the guys who they make out to be the nastiest people where by far the friendliest. (Iran Barkley & Paulie Maggiliggi):good
