That film just gets better with age,Bales acting is so good you couldn’t of imagined anyone else playing the role as Matt Damon and a few others turned it down.
Some doubt if he killed at all but my take on it is he did inc Paul Allen as all through the film they all get each other’s names wrong so even at the end with the confession where his lawyer says he had dinner in London with Paul Allen it actually counts for nothing as he doesn’t even think he’s talking to Bateman lol.
As his father was one of the big dogs Bateman could carry out his sick fantasies to the point where bodies would get cleaned up to save the value of the property/building and who knows maybe folk were calling him other names and giving false alibis just so they could carry on their meaningless lives?

None of it happened, bro. Only in Patrick Bateman's head. When he confessed to his lawyer, his lawyer basically told him that the Patrick Bateman he knew was too much of a ho to commit such heinous crimes. When he confessed to killing Paul Allen, the lawyer said that it was impossible because he had dinner w/ him after the proposed date of the killing.

 

The director though said it wasn’t her intention to make it look like it never happened and blamed herself for that,certainly the stray cat thing and him blowing up those cop cars was in head so maybe?

Wether it happened or not the comedy of these yuppies so wrapped up in themselves and wanting to fit in made it possible for a sick mother like Bateman to exist cause even if it’s in his head it’s totally f*** up lol.
