Haven't you heard of a thing called "selling a fight" that was even shamelessly dubbed "Numero Uno?"

Im fully aware Mayweather is the one who suggested paying Marquez off , but as you quoted just pay him off and forget the whole thing and move onto Pac Mayweather , is just a shocking lack of respect to the great Mexican warrior !!!!!!!

However Floyd is not known for his respecting of other fighters on the conterary quite the opposite , so from him you espect that **** , but from true boxing fans , and worded the way you have worded it you just dont !!!!!!!!!!

By the way Cotto stops Mayweather every day of the week ...........

This is just for you Bro, NYtimes 3 years ago

“Congratulations to Shane; it was his night,” said Vargas, who admitted that he had not seen the knockdown punch until he watched it later on a television replay.

De La Hoya has vowed not to fight again until at least 2007, making Mosley the next logical opponent for Mayweather. But a Mosley-Mayweather match is not guaranteed, just because fans may want to see it.

Mosley wants to wait until next year; Mayweather wants to fight in November. Even if they agree on a date, a weight and a location, the financial terms could be even harder to resolve.
Mayweather saw no reason why a fight against Mosley should not materialize.

“He has earned the right to fight me,” Mayweather said. “Mosley’s been ducking me for 10 years now. I’ve been chasing Shane Mosley forever. I can’t keep chasing the guy. I just want to beat the best fighters out there. People talk about me fighting Antonio Margarito next. Antonio Margarito is not a household name. It’s about business. We need guys who can generate pay-per-view numbers.

“I got to talk to Jin, she runs the show,” said Mayweather, referring to Mosley’s wife. “We can make the fight happen. She’s the boss of their household. I’m the boss of my household.”

Was Mayweather ever even injured or was it just that he saw the box office take coming in?

When people say the world want's to see Pac Vs. Mayweather...
who exactly are you talking about?

I could care less about that fight, Who want's to see PBF dance numbers around Pac for 12 rds. (Easy UD)

I'd rather watch Pacquiao do what he does best and fight an action packed fight instead.
(AKA against anyone else, leave the dancing to the stars)

You can't honestly call yourself a boxing fan if you don't want to see PBF-Pac. It's the biggest fight in boxing.:deal

UD easy?? who wants to see this fight?? THE DAMN WORLD!!! Nobody can really say whos the best of this ERA without this fight going down, so this is for historical purposes, plus its the biggest fight boxing can make. how the hell is it gonna be easy?? Pacquiao is the hardest fight Mayweather can take. its not easy to hit Cotto or flat footed Mosley its Pacquiao.

Pac already has this era locked down regardless.
(Mayweather will prob end up fighting for the number 3 spot behind Morales)

It might be easier to hit Cotto/Mosley, But they easily hit harder. (WW)
