£150 split between Cotto by decision at 3.4 odds and Cotto by stoppage 8-12!

Foreman is a slick boxer but watching what he did to Santos, he wont be able to do that to a boxer the calibre of Miguel Cotto. Cotto will track him down, and even outbox him despite the height disadvantage. I would pick Cotto by stoppage but Foreman is fast on his feet so I can see him surviving.

Cotto has been troubled by punchers, Margo, Pac & mosley, he backed out in all those fights. Throw in the fact that Cotto is in with a new trainer which could only be an upgrade, I think it all points towards a Cotto win. Foreman has 8 stoppages so I dont see him discouraging Cotto at all, Cotto likes to stalk and I'm not sure of the ring size tonight but regardless, Foreman cant run forever. Also take note that Foreman has had SD wins over much lesser fighters recently.

From a technical point of view, just expect Cotto to utilise the jab, throw in those combinations to score points when he corners Foreman. Foreman will needs to be slick, punch, 1-2, 3 at most and get out using lateral movements, not gonna work though. Close decision probably, 8-4, 7-5 possibly and Cotto may stop Foreman depending on the bodywork and Foreman's own stamina. Oh, expect Foreman to clinch on the inside a lot, this might be to Cotto's advantage as he can get some bodywork inside.

Im currently on a roll, havent lost any bets recently. Recently bet on:

Khan to stop Paulie, won over £100 on that.
    Kessler to decision Froch.
    Wlad to stop Chambers.
Won on all of Pac's last 5 fights, biggest on Hatton predicting KO inside 3 and pac to stop DLH.

Hopefully the streak continues and my betfair balance fattens up tonight! :good

To all the Cotto haters, specially that *** "wishing he was a fly on the wall" :fy

You don't think Cotto can stop Foreman but you bet on the late stoppage odds?

    Cotto stops him late IMO.

I agree with Cotto by KO 7-12, but instead of a foreman decision I would go with Cotto by decision. I guess its a good backup but Im guessing Cotto has a higher chance of winning by decision than stoppage. Foreman is the much bigger man, barely gets hit, runs all night and holds on the inside, its hard to stop him.

If anything, Foreman by decision and Cotto by decision would be the 2 better choice. Not great odds on that though.

I didnt say I dont think he can stop Foreman, I think he can, and I would have bet outright on Cotto by stoppage. However given Foreman's footwork, clinching on the inside, size, theres a VERY good chance he survives 12 rounds. Thus to be safe, I cover both by late stoppage and decision for Cotto.

No early stoppage by Cotto, cant see it, not a huge puncher and unlikely Foreman winning a decision.

I like where your heart is on this one. I'm with you, I'm just concerned.... I hope we can get some vintage Cotto in there tonight. Fingers crossed, and I hope you can take home some cash.

    WAR Cotto!

I can see Foreman frustrating Cotto with movement and his height but even then, id be shocked to actually see that. Cotto is a different class, and even if Cotto was "damaged goods" as some seem to think, a guy with only 8KO's won't be the guy to show that in Cotto. Cotto has nothing to fear in Foreman.

Have some faith my man, and thanks, Im sure I will be taking home some cash :D

It's a good bet because a close decision is liable to go to Cotto - he could actually lose very close on my card and would like sneak out with a decision based upon styles and location.

Yep, already taken that factor into equation. But I would hate to suggest Cotto win's via robbery so rather not mention it

Although having said that, with Cotto apparently shot, on his way out to leaving top rank, Foreman appearing on Kimmel, it may very well be Arum wants to invest in Foreman's future more so than Cotto's?

It does makes sense that if Cotto is going to lose more reflected glory, it would be in NY to a NY resident.

But I don't mean robbery, I just mean a very close round going to Cotto on one card because of the crowd, a very close round going to Cotto on another card because of styles. **** like that.

I have 100$ on Foreman split between Foreman outright at 15/8 and Foreman by decision at 3/1.

So one of us is going down.
