lol, just re-watching now. I Quote Duke Mckenzie after the first round........ "I've scored that one even. I had gone with Froch but I have changed my mind simply because Froch is in his backyard!" Duke Duke Duke. Someone needs to talk to these guys.
People criticise Watt but at least I understand where he's coming from most of the time. Duke's just on his own planet.
Froch went to Denmark and fought on the backfoot. Baffling to think he expected a decision over there
I hate when they do that, Watt is terrible for it. Duke is punchy i've met him and the man's a gentleman. A real nice guy of the sport but he's not sharpest guy and problem is he thinks he's a real thinker.
What was very obvious in the Kessler fight is that Froch hates it to the body and if there is one way to really hurt him thats it. Funnily enough though even though Ward is fundementally better all round than Kessler, i don't see his body punching having as much of an affect on Froch than Kessler had.
I dont think it was the best of Froch. We have seen the best of Froch since this fight. I think this this fight was good for Froch, since this fight he has stopped going to war, realised his boxing skills are good enough to get him through a fight and started paying attention to his trainer between rounds.
the best of Froch beating up a blown up middleweight and being forced all the way by 42 year old boiling down to 168?
was not going to bother with this thread, kessler won, simple. but HM,mate, come on,nearly the world over had AA as one of the biggest things in boxing,a ATG,big big puncher, the next SM star. when froch totally outclassed him,the same people were saying how overated he was, like they always do when the underdog winsgood
"Duke,Duke...The fight's this way mate, you need turn around so you can see it. You're just staring at the wall." "That's it. Now Froch is the one with the fugly beak and that metrosexual looking chap is Kessler. Atta boy!"
c'mon we all knew that Abraham was one dimensional, the fact that Froch didn't get involved in a war with him tells you that they were respectful of Abraham's power.
