I wish I had a time machine and a lot of money.

I'd make a prime Hatton face an aging Chavez.

I'd buy you ringside tickets. You'd love it, huh?

    haha.

I know right. I love Hattons 'excuses without making excuses' style. Like he'll say 'No excuses'... and then make a thousand excuses in the same sentence. Hatton is a phony and a hypejob I saw it from day one.

Not to mention that it HURT!. Niether of Tyszu's accidental 'low blows' were actually in the 'low' area that the rule is designed to protect. One of them was borderline good that in many other instances would be classed as a KD. Hatton's low blow, on the other hand, was a viscious right straight as Tszue's testicles and he was nearly throwing up from it. The agony on his face tells the story. I was in pain just watching it. Tszyu has said in interviews that the low blow was what took it out of him...though not really complaining. The truth is that Hatton was ecstatic with the low blows he was recieving as it was the prefect opportunity to lower the bar and crack Tszyu directly in the balls.

I dont get why every1 says Kostya quit..

It very well known here in Oz that Kostya was filthy with his longtime trainer and friend Johnny Lewis for throwing in the towel..

Dare i say if it wasnt for Kostya's usually very private and quiet wife publicly thanking and totally agreeing with johnny's decision Kostya may of never forgave him..

Yes Kostya didnt get up jumping around and screaming that the fight was stopped like most fighters do but that was due to him being obviously exhausted and very battered...

If Lewis didnt throw the towel in Kostya would of indeed continued to fight and may of pulled off something special but more then likely would of sustained more life longer injuries..

It was a bad, and destructive fight with a tired boxer. Kostya was fighting like an animal ever since his amateur days and was just running out of steam. His style and genetics does not allow him longetivity.

So I agree. Hatton beat a way-over-the-hill fighter, and did so in what could hardly be called a boxing match.

Thisis coming from a guy that has a boxing glove with a picture of Ricky Hatton on it....and someone is supposed to take you seriously? Bottom line, it was a grueling fight. Hatton definitely roughed him up repeatedly and intentionally hit him in the balls and was never once warned for his constant holding, rabbit punching, blow to the boys, etc. Kostya had to know going over there that it might be a posibility that shi tlike that happens. He did it anyway. At the end of the day, as ugly as it was, hatton got the win. I'm a huge Kostya fan, but to be honest he wasnt at his prime and it showed. If hatton was getting away with it, he should have retaliated on his own, its boxing, **** like that is gonna happen. He was just too old and tired to deal with it.

Bottom line, how old was Kostya when he fought Hatton? He had been out of boxing for awhile after having shoulder surgery and came back to fight Sharmba Mitchell. He was clearly past his prime. Every fighter claims at all times they are in their prime, but they arent. Hattons been holding on to that win since it happened. Sure it was the greatest moment in his career. But every time Hatton stepped up the competition he got his dick put in the dirt. Collazo in reality beat him, almost knocked him out in the 12th, even tho the judges gave it to Hatton. Lazcano almost had him out. Floyd knocked him into a turnbuckle. Pac made him look like a ****ing amatuer. He was at the right place and the right time to beat Kostya..every other step up in comp and he failed miserably. I would love to see you argue or defend that.

Hahahahaha...hattons win over KT is the only thing he is known for, besides getting knocked out by better fighters, truly embarrassed by one. Floyd has wins over Corrales, Castillo twice, Judah ( who would destroy Hatton) De La Hoya (who would destroy Hatton), Gatti (who i think would beat hatton) etc...Hatton has one big win compared to how many Floyd has? The only reason it appears greater is because its his only real accomplishment.

What a ****ing idiot...Sharmba was equally past his prime and never that good to begin with...He was past his prime because he was 35, had a year and a half lay off from shoulder surgery and had one fight with a b, maybe c level fighter in Sharmba..lets talk about what Hatton has done since...knocke dout by Floyd, beaten but given a gift decision against Collazo, rocked by Lazcano a couple times, and utterly embarrassed by pac...but if you wanna keep the dream alive by clinging to the Tszyu fight, by all means..dont let the voice of reason stop you.
