This content is protected I think there's a reason Haye pulled out of this fight twice, and it wasn't entirely down to injuries. Haye is known for having the so-called gift-of-the-gab. He can hype and sell a fight very well, as most of his PPV numbers will show. However, when he came up against Fury and the cameras were on, he was a defeated man. This interview captures that. He can't really get a word in, Tyson talks over him and defeats him with facts. You can even see it in his eyes, at one point towards the end (13:03) when Fury asks Haye if he will show up and slug it out or stink the place out Haye is visibly nervous at the idea. He had no plans to fight him, really. Any thoughts on this?
Yes Haye was thoroughly outmatched in both interviews and press conferences when it came to facing Fury. A shame the fight never happened as that's the last we would have seen of Haye.
Kind of moot, as Fury ducked Wlad twice and couldn't take the pressure of facing him in the rematch. Just like Haye didn't have the balls to face Fury.
Haye realised he bit of more then he could chew. FAST. Once the sparring reports leaked it was all over. Haye was out. No thanks. Bye Bye.
I thought having the great GGG's white sticky stuff all over me was annoying but rewatching Fury Haye interviews has to be the greatest pain & humiliation I can think a person can suffer.
