Just Re-Watched Mayweather vs Mosley - The Fight with Pacquiao HAS to Happen

funny how people think its an easy fight for floyd. i wish floyd was as confident as you guys then this fight would have happened already. its all good admiring floyds defence and skills but he hasn't fought anyone close to matching pacs talent. look at who he has fough in his last 4 fights, and now look at who at who he is about to face. no comparison. pac is one of a few in the history of the sport that can combine, speed,power,stamina and heart. no way is this an easy fight for floyd.

 

Eh Margarito took about 10,000 of those shots before he went down. Oscar took a bunch of those shots from Prime Shane.

Floyd took 3 and from that you conclude he has a good chin STFU.

 

Margarito and Oscar have the two best chins I've ever seen at WW.

It's going to be an easy fight for PBF. I even expect Floyd to walk him down in the fight with full knowledge that pac can't fight off the back foot for ****.

How do you figure Pac's chin is better than Mayweathers. Pac his been floored twice in his career and almost a 3rd time vs.tiny Marquez. Mayweather took one of Shane Mosley's best punches and that's saying a lot. Pac would not have taken that punch without being KO'd

 

I suppose it's possible that Pac can hurt May since the punches that he doesn't see coming are the only ones that have staggered him. Pac is really good at landing those types of shots. Then again, he isn't the greatest finisher; I would say average at best. He had both JMM and Cotto hurt, couldn't finish either guy. The fight against Cotto was stopped but I believe that's just a matter of Cotto getting gassed. Floyd has excellent stamina, never fades. If Pac doesn't get Floyd out of there in the early rounds, Floyd will have a field day for the remainder of the fight.

Looks like the skill advantages favor Floyd. But I still think they are evenly matched because I feel Manny has an edge in the intangibles department. He fights for an entire country whereas Floyd fights for a huge paycheck.

 

Floyd fights for his kids and family. He also has his own charity foundation.

If PBF was as confident as his fans he would fight. My guess is we will get another 5 million posts about this same "what if" topic.

Floyd didn't fight Pac because he knows he can still make a ton of money fighting other guys. I'm not criticizing Floyd for fightin for money. But what's real is real. Dude has even said it himself many times that he's all about the money. After all, his nickname is "Money," isn't it?

Floyd does have heart as he has shown in his fights. I just feel Pac is the hungrier fighter of the two. Doesn't mean he is the better fighter. Nothing wrong with calling it even. Hell, I don't want it to be a lopsided. If I'm paying money to watch these guys fight I'm hoping it will be competitive.
