this "can't fight on the back foot" story is getting old and worn out. wake up dawg! when was the last time you saw it happened? It's 2010 already and you think it's still 2003.

every time Pac has a fight, the strategy you would often hear is: you got to push him back cuz he doesn't know how to fight on the back foot and look where pac's opponents have gotten them. People never learn, geeesh.

Floyd has better timing, jabs, straights, distance control, footwork, reach, counters, and even D to cover his AZZ as he's walking down emmanuel. For ****s sake he's worried about Floyd's speed. How will he react once he's in the ring with someone faster?

None of emmanuel's previous opponents had all of that.

I stand by what I say that it's going to be an easy fight for Floyd, and he'll even walk him down knowing that pacquiao isn't the best at fighting backwards.

If I'm wrong you can feel free to quote me and post it all over the damn forum after the fight happens.

pacs just as fast dude and how will floyd react to pacs combination punching from a southpaw stance, how will he handle the intese pace that pac sets, and how will he react to someone that actually moves on him for once. floyds d will not be able to cover all the angles pac will bring.

i havent seen anyone recently get pack going backwards....but he cant fight of that back foot...

    he cant box very well..

and he has looked good because he is faster than the last 4 people he has fought..and they with the exception of clottey have no defense...which for pac is his best defense (a completely offensive fight for him and the other fighter during which pacs hand speed gives him the ability to land a punch way before his opponent)

you pac fans r setting that boy up...his feelings are gonna be mad hurt after he fights mayweather ...cats did the same **** to hatton and he got koed and cried for weeks

If pac is just as fast then why did it come straight out of his mouth that he was worried about Floyd's speed?

Floyd's jabbing, timing, counters, and footwork will reduce pac's output.

Body punching slows down someone who's quick on their feet.

I don't see pac as the fight to end all fights, and be the hardest challenge for Floyd.

he doesn't need to fight back he fights side to side and of course he can box. floyd only looks good when he controls the tempo and when the guy is right in front of him. that aint happening against pac. and i think he knows the deal to, thats why he is stalling with the ost. if he was as confident as u he would have taken this fight like his previous 40. he knows what he is facing.

no dude he said he needs to be faster. i really dont see how the single shots will discourage pac and i dont see how floyd will be able to defend pacs flurries. to much speed and angles.

walk down manny? when did Floyd ever walk down in his fights? with Moseley, he just stood his ground and didn't back up but far from walking moseley down.

Cotto is a harder puncher than Floyd yet manny walked right through him. That's what Manny will do to Floyd. pac will walk right through floyd's because that's what he does. he takes risk to get the job done and that's how he is going to finish floyd.

honestly at the beginning he wasnt walking through ****...he started winning when cotto abandoned his jab and tried to slug it out with pac rather than box him....they started to trade and pacs punches were hitting the target before cottos and catching cotto all silly and off balance cuz pac has fast hands...

not gonna happen with floyd...keep building ur boy up though i pray he is the favorite when they fight cuz i want to take some money home from vegas

first pacs improved secon marquez counterpunched with combinations. u need to throw more than single shots to stop pac. i dont see how floyd can unless he actually fights.

Floyd was able to get Mosley's respect with his jab and rights. Before the Floyd and Mosley fight happened I even made a poll about who has the better chin between pac and mosley. It was ridiculously one sided with Pac only getting 1 vote.

He won't be throwing those same kind of flurries if he's not in the proper mid range. Floyd won't let him get set.

What's your point? Cotto hits harder than Floyd, but iron chinned Mosley didn't show the same respect he did for Cotto like he did Floyd. I see pacquiao getting knocked out instead of losing a decision if he decides to keep coming forward at Floyd.
