Marquez won 7 rds in this fight, the word robbery is too harsh because it was competitive all the way but I found it easy to score personally, 7-4-1 Marquez.

He wouldnt beat Pacquiao now tho, only Mayweather or Mosely are capable from 147 downwards & only Mayweather I would bet big on.

 

I had Marquez winning 7 rounds. People argue the knockdown won Pacquiao the bout, but if I remember rightly, I felt one of mid-late rounds could have been scored 10-8 in Marquez's favour. I didn't at the time, and even then I had Marquez winning a close bout.

 

Funnily enough i also watched it properly the for the first time yesterday, i had Marquez winning 6, Pac winning 6, with the knockdown the only difference, 114-113 Pacquiao.

It was one of those fights where almost every round could have been judged either way, so its hard to complain about either fighter winning. Just have to say at that stage of their careers they were very very evenly matched.

 

that fight is therapeutic for pac haters. divac watches it 3x a day.

i was watching the first one damn pac is completely different fighter now.in the first he only really used a stairght left and he didn't box just moved backwards

i remember giving pac rounds 1, 3,4, 7, 9, and 10. anyone who argues round 8 could have been scored a 10-8, i'd argue that round 10 could have been a 10-8 to for pacman or that round three could have been a 10-7 round

 

can't remember exactly how i scored the fight but i had pacquiao winning the fight at the 10th with marquez needing to win 11,12 and a knock down to win the fight. something along those lines.

never understood why people said jmm easily won the last two rounds. jmm threw a lot of combinations but with only one punch actually landing, pacquiao landed equally as much as jmm, and maybe more.

i had it a pretty clear victory for pac, however somebody could make the argument that jmm won. anybody screaming robbery,however, is obviously a hater.
