Yep. Pac caught him coming off a loss and drained him... twice. See my comment earlier in this thread.

Caught him off a loss where he was hardly hit by a runner. Absolutely no effect on him physically. He could have fought another fight after that Raheem fight.

I strongly recommend you watch it before you spew garbage :good

hilarious how *****s use this fight to take something away from pac instead of looking at it as a great great contribution by two great fighters

Last great performance by Morales. Even though he won that fight, it took a lot out of him. It kind of reminds me of the Cotto vs Margarito fight in terms of the punishment that Margarito took to get the "W."

What's even more bad ass is the fact that Morales went from Jesus Chavez, Carlos Hernandez, Marco Antonio Barrera, and then PacMan. Mofo is a certified warrior!

Another last thing I want to comment on is the fact that a few posters are crying foul on the glove issue. Total B.S. The glove had a little more padding and that's it. It's not as if it was an exaggerated amount of padding. If brittle handed Morales rocked PacMan several times throughout the course of the fight with those "pillows" then I don't see how they had a huge effect on Pac's punching power. Sorry, just don't buy that argument. If anything, it could have very well been Morales who would have gone on to stop PacMan if they had been wearing Cleto-Reyes gloves AKA: The puncher's glove.

*******s are guilty of it too, as if different gloves and socks suddenly makes Pacquiao not Pacquaio.

It was a great fight between two great fighters, and EM should be given full credit for it, just as Pac should be given full credit for his victories over Cotto, Hatton, Clottey and Margo.

Exactly, morales was on a streak of tough fighters.

Chavez fought like a possessed demon against morales, tried so hard im there.

have never went for all those excuses except for the cut and how it may have affected the fight. without the cut the fight could have been much closer. still, morales was the better man that night and would have won nonetheless.

I do believe the cut bothered Pac, but that's just part of the game. I doubt any fighter makes it to the halfway point of any hard fight without something being hurt and bothering the **** out of him, some things you can see and some you can't.

People who think the gloves didn't play a role , have never been in a boxing gym or even close to the sport.
