Many people make it out to be a complete domination by Maidana but Broner did very well he got hit with some big shots and still was pressing the attack if Broner got his act together i would pick him over Maidana in the rematch.

Broner did have his moments where he countered nicely.

The problem was that he got thrown off his game, he didn't know what to do once he wasn't the bully anymore, and someone wasn't scared of his power. You could see from the very start he was shocked, and totally out of his comfort zone when Maidana relentlessly attacked him, he wasn't ready for that.

For the short times he got it together, he did counter well, at times brilliantly, and landed some serious leather. Problem was Maidana was not discouraged by his power, he could handle it, and kept the pressure on. Broner had no answer for it, he was used to be able to sit back and dictate fights with his size and power, neither of which he had advantages in here.

Maidana overwhelmed and was all over him from the opening bell. You could tell from the very start that Broner was shook and clearly overwhelmed. This wasn't a close fight, it was a clear domination by Maidana.

You're right, it wasn't a shut out. However Broner was clearly troubled that someone wasn't a bit scared of him.

He got whooped. Not seeing any fragment of a point in trying to dispute it.

I can't see how you can use the first fight for reasons why Broner would win a rematch, he got heavily dropped twice, stunned 4 or 5 more times, lost 9 or 10 rounds. It was a bad beating which i really enjoyed. War Maidana. broner would have to show huge improvements, not impossible but i would favor a repeat in a rematch.

Broner won about 4 rounds in the fight which showed that he did have his moments, but he also got dropped twice

Well Broner is smart enough, never thought I would call the guy smart, to avoid 147 and Maidana again bro:yep

Broner took some power shots to his credit he did not QUIT:good

Maidana still would push his turds back inside his anus:lol:

Once he realized he wasn't in the ring with the Gavin Rees of the world, that the jump to 147 wasn't as easy as he thought. Probably took Marcos easy as well.

Has anybody had more fun watching a fight unfold in the last year or so? :think

For me, this was like being a kid again. It was a little over a week before Christmas, so I was setting up our tree in my robe, drinking a beer whistling carols and just getting excited as it became apparent that 9/2 Maidana had a stranglehold on the contest...giving us an early stocking-stuffer. :xmas

It was just a perfect event, all the way from lead-up to Jimmy Lennon Jr.'s classy reading of the equally classy scorecards.

Rarely do things like 24/7, Face-Off, All-Access or FC360 legitimately get me any more pumped for something - but in this case having watched and enjoyed All-Access (thinking "oh man, it will suck to see Maidana lose now ") just served to augment the giddy feeling when Maidana started wailing on him.
