Man, what a great fight that isn't talked about a lot. Gonzalez was doing a number on Vasquez, but Vasquez sure can punch!!! For those who saw it, do you guys think it was a good stoppage by Suarez his trainer?
Gonzales looked like he was on his way out but wasn't completely done yet so his trainer should have let him continue. Especially considering the fact that Gonzales is a prety good puncher himself and already had shown the ability to hurt Vazquez with 2 knockdowns of his own. Great fight though.
I think you are referring to the Vasquez vs Marquez fights. I'm talking about Vasquez vs Jhonny Gonzalez.
The scary thing is that this fight is just another highlight on Izzy Vasquez' highlight reel. The guy just has a collection of fights like this and it's a wonder his career has lasted as long as it has.
