Seems its 50/50 and Arum has sweetened Pacs end.

this is what i'm thinking. it's still a 50-50 split but arum just added some more to make it look like 52-48. in actuality this is a 52-50 split with the 2% from arum's own pocket. just a hunch.

Theres a quote from Ricahrd Shaefer this morning saying the fight is still 50/50 (and that there were no other offers were ever on the table as far as he was concerned). So any extra money Manny is getting out of this must be on Pacs guarantee and from Arum.

arum has to shoulder this coz he agreed to a 50-50 split without consulting pac. well a 2% from his pocket is no big deal considering how much this fight is expected to make.

that seems to be the way it is. pac will end up taking home more money than hatton while gbp will retain a slightly bigger share compared to top rank.

as i've been sayong all along. there was no chance of this fight getting cancelled considering all factors, particularly the money. anyone who believed otherwise was naive.

though i read that arum said that he "massaged the deal" or something but it didn't cost him any extra. my guess he increased pac guaranteed purse, but he knows that the fight is guaranteed to cover the increase anyway so the fight remains at 50:50.

this is what he said ""I massaged something in the deal, which I'm not going to tell you about, but it didn't cost me anything. We got it done." "
