Hey stupid ass. Let me explain how this works. WE HAVE A WBO MANDATORY DUE. CASAMAYOR IS THAT MANDATORY, UNTIL THE WBO SAYS DIFFERENT, WHICH THEY WILL ON TUESDAY. Which is EXACTLY what we told Guzman, that until he was named the mandatory, we couldn't fight him, without Nate getting stripped. I PERSONALLY requested to the WBO that if Casa didnt sign, that we were not interested in an optional bull**** fight in between, and that we wanted Guzman named mandatory immediately. Is that so difficult for you to understand? As long as Casamayor is still the WBO mandatory, we cant negotiate any other fight, with any other fighter. This isn't rocket science. Casamayor was in the way. Come Tuesday, he's out of the way.
And what the hell would Nate prove by fighting JMM? The guy isn't even in the division. I'm sure GBP has enough fighters, that they can find something for JMM to do (namely Casa). With no title at 130, no title at 135, AND coming off a loss, what right does JMM have to skip to the front of the line? In my opinion, none.
If he beats Casa, and then maybe the Diaz-Katsidis winner, THEN maybe it's worth discussing. But right now, at lightweight, JMM means exactly ZERO.
