Bradley beats Holt, Campbell (!!) and Peterson and unifies. Surely that makes him the division number one and while not undisputed champion or anything like that he's certainly got a better argument then Khan who beat Salita and Kotelnik whose yet to establish himself as world class.

That would be a ***** move. Forfeiting a title in this manner is the most obvious way of ducking an opponent in boxing.

Maidana has power and a bit of freakish timing on his right hand but thats IT. He's not legend material, if your team are scared of a guy with power alone they clearly have no faith in the improvements he's seemingly made.

I don't feel the problem lies with Amir though: he'll fight anyone and his comments about Bradley show his intelligence and awareness too.

As TFFP touched on further up, all the supposed improvements Roach is apparently seeing in the gym are obviously being counter balanced with flaws over his chin despite this. Otherwise his team would have more confidence in him. At the end of the day, Maidana is effective but not a World beater. Khan ducking him would be a bizarre move as it would do business as well so they can't make that excuse either.

Its not about the improvements he has made, everybody in Amir Khan's camp from Frank Warren to his own father know he has no chin and they are not willing to put him in with anybody who can hit hard because he will get stretched again. Simple as that.
