Norris was no tomato can back then. He was a live, game and good fighter.

Foreman would of demolished him when they touched gloves anyways.
Good thing he didn't waste his time.

Oriln was no one to "duck."

Seriously, Norris had a good run at heavy beating Greg Page, lost a couple, dropped down and wona cruiser belt, and then stepped back up with wins over, I think, tony Tucker and Oliver McCall if I am not mistaken. He also has plenty- plenty of losses along the line to guys who are not George Formena level.

foreman did not duck him. orlin norris was a nobody. if you dont fight a nobody it only means you dont give a **** about that nobody or you are busy fighting somebody else.

just like in the case of soto.

Foreman probably would have lost a decision to Norris. I read an article that talked about Foreman ducking Norris. Even Bob Arum commented on how it was tough to get Foreman to fight any "live" body. Foreman even ducked the Swedish fighter Anders Ecklund. Orlin Norris was a giant step up from the pathetic mopes that Foreman was bowling over in the late 80's.....

Norris did not have a good chin and would have lost. However, Foreman gave up his IBF title rather than rematch Axel Schultz.
