Indeed. Danny is getting better showing new wrinkles to his game every time he fights.

He's a kid maximizing every last bit of talent he has, which is not on the level of guys he's found ways to beat.

A lot of those guys were supposed to beat Danny, yet Danny finds it in him to win. That's a champions will and determination that lives in Danny.

He is an overachiever and even though he's had some spotty performances in the resume he has thus far, but against the really top notch opposition he's brought his game up. Sometimes Danny seems to fight at the level of his competition.

Danny deserves credit for being in this position. I think Thurman would beat Danny and Peterson....possibly Khan but everyone else at 147 I give Danny the edge.

Some of us get turned off fighters when you see officials cheating for them . The Herrera fight and the open scoring after 8 rounds was a joke . Even the judge that had Herrera ahead by 2 after 8 rounds scored 3 of the last 4 rounds to Garcia.

He's definitely carving himself a HOF career (as crazy as that may sound.) There are guys in the IBHOF that have done much less than what Garcia has done professionally up to this point.

I personally don't think he'll be too successful at WW, the guys are just too big and strong for him IMO. I can't see him beating a Porter or Thurman, so he's probably best off taking a rematch with Khan or someone with below average power at the weight class (i.e. Alexander, ALgieri.) I don't even think he'd fare well against a Maidana type. The guys at 147 are just too big and most can take his best punches and still keep coming forward. I was surprised with the Ghost last night, he kept eating a lot of Garcia's best shots and kept coming forward.

I agree. But again as I mentioned, Danny seems to fight at the level of his opposition. When he steps up and faces the top tier guys he always seems to bring his A game....even when he's in a bad way he finds a way to win. Although I think Peterson and Herrera go the short end of the stick against Garcia.

The Ghost has never done anything at 140 - 147.

In fact DSG's entire resume is padded with "big name" fighters that where just looking for a paycheck. Lucas was the only one in his prime. Khan as well, although I think Khan beats him most any day but got caught by a lucky punch.
