    1. Cotto clear
    2. Clottey clear
    3. Cotto close
    4. Clottey close
    5. Clottey clear
    6. Cotto clear
    7. Clottey clear
    8. Clottey clear
    9. Clottey clear
    10. Clottey clear
    11. Cotto really close (being generous here) give him the edge for activity
    12. Cotto close

    114-113 Clottey

As you can see most of Clotteys rounds were clear as day. Cotto's rounds except for 2 the 1st and the 6th could have gone either way, but I scored it for Cotto because he was more active and tended to steal alot of rounds in the closing seconds. So to anyone that says, "well Cotto could have won a round that was close" No. Every round that Clottey won, he won by a wide margin, to give Cotto rounds you would actually have to give him the benefit of the doubt, which I did, even though even during the 11th and 12th he was far from impressive, and just ran and when he did punch couldnt penetrate Clotteys guard.

As for round 10, which from what I see alot of people are giving Cotto. That is a joke. Cotto landed 2 punches that round cleanly. 2. To right hooks at the end of the round. Sorry that doesnt cut it, especially for the fact that Clottey pretty much dominated this round, throwing clean combinations and sneaking his jab through Cotto's gloves.

And Compubox pretty much validates me. Clottey landed 16 punches to Cotto's 7.

Anyone that gives any round from round 7-10 to Cotto, shouldnt be scoring fights, but should be getting their eyes checked.

And im not biased, I actually picked Cotto to win quite comfortably and was rooting for Cotto right around round 7 when Clottey completely took over the fight.

its because of people like you why the word Robbed/Robbery has no meaning in boxing anymore

I was extremely generous for the rounds Cotto won. Clottey took his rounds. It was a robbery.

Clottey won his rounds clearly. Except for the 4th there was really no round that I gave him that he didnt win by a wide margin. Cotto however struggled in nearly every round he won except the 6th. I was generous to give him a number of rounds notably rounds 3 and 11. It was a close but clear decision for Clottey.

Thats one of the negatives of the 10 must scoring system though....Clottey was clearly the better fight IMO aswell, he won his rounds clearer and looked stronger throughout.

But in the end Cotto did enough to bag a lot of rounds...evidently enough to get the decision. And also had the 10-8 round up his sleeve for Clottey to turn around.

If I could boil the whole fight down to one round it would be 10-9 Clottey...this coming from a pretty big Cotto fan.

Im over talking about it though...Clottey deserves the rematch but it wasnt a robbery in my eyes...and Josh was bitching to much for my liking.

well rescore it without being generous .. no bs just rescore with a total objective out look

hey if you think clottey won more power too you even being a cotto fan as i am ..i am more of a fan of cleaning up this sport and getting rid of these **** decisions ...

redo it and be totally honest and even no generousity

The rounds he did bag off the skin of his teeth werent impressive at all. He was fighting off the back foot but he was hitting Clotteys gloves. He wasnt hitting him in the body nor the head. I dont score punches that land on arms and gloves.

Watch the 10th and see if Cotto does ANYTHING before the last 10 seconds. Watch round 11, and it was pretty much even. With clottey probably landing the cleaner punches and Cotto being slightly more active.

It also didnt help that any time Cotto landed a counter hook to Clotteys gloves the Puerto rican crowd would cheer as if he landed a magnificent blow.

Clottey deserves to *****. Clottey is not a big name fighter and this was his last chance. He vacated his belt and fought Cotto on his own turf. He deserves a fair shake. Not 116-111 and 115-112 THATS A JOKE.

No, Holyfield - Lewis 1 was a robbery. Get some perspective.

Probably because the rounds Clottey won were that clear. Where as Cotto fans have been all over the place.

I mean the 10th, I cant stress this round enough. Such a crucial round.

wel i think that cotto won a close fight which is far from the scorecard of one of the judges in the fight, he did enough to win some of the close rounds. but overall clottey did the more damage. rematch anyone??
