My card says I gave the 10th to Clottey, Danny.

My card is identical to yours except I gave the 4th to Cotto...Swinging it in his favour.

    yeah ^...

    my score was like yours

    10-8 cotto r1
    9-10 clottey r2
    9-10 clottey r3
    10-9 cotto r4
    9-10 clottey r5
    10-9 cotto r6
    9-10 clottey r7
    9-10 clottey r8
    9-10 clottey r9
    9-10 clottey r10
    10-9 cotto r11
    10-9 cotto r12

    113-114 clottey....

its amazing how accurate the scores are for people who scored the fight to clottey... I mean usually peoples score cards are never similar but this fight it seems that every one who scored clottey shared the same view

i think anything besides a 113-114 score for either guy is a joke

116-111 would mean Cotto won 8 rounds. 8 rounds. Really I'd like to know how you could possibly give Cotto 8 rounds. That judge should drink bleach before he screws someone else over.

I saw the fight as Danny Rand, very close and therefor not a robbery. But 116-111 and 115-112 as i recall it......... Sure make you wonder how a dominant performance Clottey should have made - just to get a draw though :huh

I think Clottey probably won by a point, too, but I'd hardly call this a robbery.

    Could have went either way.

Thats the exact same way i scored the fight and the exact same thoughts about the 10th round, you cant win a round landing 2 punches in the last seconds while the other fighter dominated you the whole round, you took the words out of my mouth, btw its different to say "the fight could go either way" like some poeple says when there were a lot of rounds very close but this is not the case, there were clear rounds, if anything the close rounds were for cotto and i gave them to cotto too based on what you just said, he was more active and i gave them the benefit of the doubt...

116-111 is robbed...but Cotto as the winner is no robbery at all...close fight that could go either way...

    Same as me.

Clottey beat Cotto up at times, but anyone who scores a fight as close as 1 point and with rounds marked as close (round 4 for example could easily go to Cotto) is just an abortion of a person.

Exactly. The rounds Clottey won were clear. The rounds Cotto won were iffy.

Agreed. I had all these rounds for Clottey as well. I think this is when Cotto jumped on his bike.

My notes say the 10th was close (see next paragraph), but the Compubox stats help me feel even better about giving it to Clottey.

One point about the 10th: I didn't think it was close, but based on the "MSG scoring" for Cotto in the Mosley fight, I was afraid it would appear close to the judges.

In my notes for the 10th, it says "Cotto-Mosley all over again." That is, I was afraid Clottey would get jobbed as I felt Mosley did when he had to chase a retreating Cotto around the ring late in the fight.

    And Joshua did.

114-113 can be a robbery if the fighter won his rounds clearly. That is what Clottey did.

Oh and not one judge scored the fight 114-113 for Cotto.

The headbutt is immaterial. Clotteys legs were ****ed up when Cotto slammed him. You can see him struggling with his legs the rest of the fight. **** happens. Score the fight correctly and without bias Clottey wins.

I also scored for Clottey 113-114. But I had him winning the 3rd and losing the 4th both of which could of gone either way. Lederman actually had Cotto winning the 3rd, 4th, and 10th and still had it by 1 point for Cotto!

People say Cotto 'got on his bike'.

Two things. This is BOXING, not BRAWLING.

2ndly, Clottey was known before this fight for his not exactly strong workrate. he always takes time off. it is his fault he didn't win, but to be honest I doubt he would've won anyway. Cotto can box on the backfoot. Maybe if Clottey had stayed away from the corners some rounds and moved he wouldn't have lost those few vital points.

I had it 75-Cotto; Clottey KD in the first so 115-112 Cotto.

This is exactly the same as De La Hoya-Quartey; close fight, people will always have their opinions on it. It is NOT like DLH-Tito. THAT was a robbery!
