I am a huge Klitschko fan, but that fight was a disgrace. Klitschko should had a point deduction in the first round, another one in the second and eventually been DQ'd. He fought like a coward vs Povetkin, he did not box but wrestle him out of the ring.

I believe that current Povetkin, who is in much better shape than in his fight vs Wlad, has a 40% chance of knocking Klitschko out in the rematch with a fair referee. Your thoughts?

Povetkin fought a extremely re****ed fight, instead of trying a different tactic he did the same thing over and over and over and over. He came flailing in with no plan like a crazy fat kid going after a burger only to be jabbed and held repeatedly. Alexander made it really easy for Wlad to fight that way. Povetkin couldn't adjust and the ref didn't make Wlad stop so don't blame Wlad.

Ya, I consider myself a Klitschko fan as well. But that fight really was out of control. Early in the fight the ref warned Wlad for holding, and Wlad yelled at the ref back. Then proceeded to grapple and lean on Povetkin for the rest of the fight, and get away with it.

Maybe, but you are not allowed to fight like that.

Boxing and refs are to blame.
Refs really need to be instructed to take multiple points away and warn after the 3rd point deduction that another one will =disqualification.
Under this protocol, I'm sure Wlad would be forced to stop the clinching and it would make for much more viewable fights.

Wlad has a long history of clinching borefests, so your argument does'nt hold any water.

Disgusting cheating, amongst the worst I've ever seen, a black eye for the sport. And Wlad is on steroids.

The ref should have done something about it, it was ridiculous.

Ask yourself how was the Cruiser Huck able to stand toe-to-toe with Povetkin , fighting him without out a single clinch and come within a hairs distance of the win?
And Huck didn't have Wlads size to dr.ape himself all over Povetkin so he couldn't move- but he gave up 26 POUNDS in weight:barf:tired

This is why Wlad a a fake champ. Him and his whole team knew he wasn't good enough to beat Povetkin.:-(

The ref should have warned both, and eventually taken points. Povetkin was as much responsible for that unwatchable show. He would have gotten stopped without the bull charging ****.
