Berto battered him. This was not a close fight. Lederman's score card was a joke. Blatantly had a softspot for the tough luck bread truck driver from NY. Luis is a nice guy and fought hard but he couldn't keep up with Berto at all. He had a few moments, but Berto won the huge majority of rounds. I hope Bad News Berto has learned from his mistakes in this fight and brings his best game into the ring against Shane.

its because his personality and ring persona are similar to Flamboyant Floyd

The fight was far from one sided and Berto was lucky to escape with a win. I had Collazo winning the fight.

I had Berto winning by 1 point 114-113 finishing strongly but you have to be an idiot to say he battered him.

I strongly disagree. Collazo looked like he would rather be elsewhere in most rounds.

What an absurd post. Berto was in a whole lot of trouble in the late rounds. He rallied well to finish the fight, but to say this wasn't a close fight is ridiculous. For the record, I had Collazo up 1, but I thought the decision was fair.

No Berto didn't "batter" him but he did finish strong. I had it for Collazo 115-112. The decision could've gone either way it was a close fight.

    no he wasn't.

and the hbo commentators talking about how berto was "hurt" in the first round was absurd. he was off balance, not hurt. there is a big difference. i gave him that round he rocked luis later on in it.
