if anything Berto should have lost a point for holding cus he was doing a fair share of that, I guess the repeated fouling is why he lost the point regardless if anybody here deserved to win it was Collazo, Berto deserved a draw at best.

Berto beat the **** out of Collazo pretty much, Collazo might have landed more but Bertos punches were heavier and more meaningful. ANyone calling it for Collazo needs to second guess themselves

I'm watching this fight for the first time right now, I was in the navy when this happened, so I never got a chance to see it.
I am surprised by Berto's hand speed... it's a little better than I thought.

    I'm rewatching it now. Berto won rounds 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12.

Lederman gave Collazo rounds 6 and 7. 6 was a little close but 7 was a wash. Lederman has always been terrible.

Berto DID lose a point for holding.

the kid won 7 rounds. In my book thats enough to win him the fight since he was deducted only 1 point.

either way thats a great fight.

Rounds 5 and 6 could easily have gone to Collazo, especially the sixth. The seventh I scored for Berto.

the 6th was the closest round but Berto still edged it. Round 5 was clear as day for Berto. In fact almost all the rounds other than the 6th were very clear.

115-112 for Berto. Collazo did a good job working the inside (Which I don't know why Berto fought that way, it was a mistake), and showed great heart, but Berto landed the cleaner punches, and controlled the pace of the fight the majority of times. The fight was good, and if Collazo should thank somebody for looking pretty good in this fight is Andre Berto. He went to fight from the inside where Collazo was putting up his best stuff, even when Berto has the greater hands speed and the better boxing. Berto should've fought from the outside ALL THE TIME and move A LOT more. Still he got the Victory, I had him winning 115-112. Still a pretty good fight.
