just rewatched berto vs. collazo

Callazo capitalized on body shots more so than I've seen any boxer do in quite some time. I too think the kid shoulda got the nod.

 

I scored it for Berto, but it was certainly a close, competitive fight. I don't fault anyone for scoring it for Callazo, though. What a battle that was..

 

Collazo won:good

 

It was a helluva fight. I'm not so much one to discredit Berto, but to credit Collazo more than most care to it seems.

 

Callazo won that fight, no doubt within my mind at all.

 

It was close fight, I thought Berto came through in the championship rounds. But no doubt there should be a rematch.

 

Collazo won that fight I just cant see how anyone scored it for Berto and not Collazo. I also had Collazo winning the Hatton fight this guy has been unjustly canned twice. He is a very talented fighter and yet the politics of boxing have seen to it that he is cast aside. I really dont think everything is on the level in this game if you dont have a powerful promotion team behind you thats what happens.

 

I scored it clearly for the Berto.

A key round was the first where Berto looks like he was badly hurt when he clearly was not and came back two stun Collazo twice.

 

Callazo was the winner, not close at all.

close fight clear win for Collazo, but Berto the HBO boy got a gift decision for his great closing performance on the champ rounds.

 

I thought Berto just edged out Collazo in the championship rounds. It seems a rematch is warranted.

 

A rematch is certainly in order.
