Calzaghe always came to fight. Gave great shows and dominated. He was good for the sport it is just too bad his manager waited to get him the big fights. Loved to watch him.

 

Maybe so, but at a time when all the US "greats" where cheating Toney, Fields, Mosley, RJJ, etc I'd edge my bets so was Hopkins.

 

Hopkins was no longer elite says @HerolGee but he was the number 1 at 175 and top 2/3 P4P.....not bad for a guy who some idiot claims was not elite.

Zaggers was amazing.

 

Fair comments to a degree. Joe himself was just starting to slide I think. He was iron chinned throughout his career, but 2 straight knock downs against Hopkins and Jones suggested he was getting more susceptible. Hopkins was an elite fighter, but due to age he fought in more energy conservative manner including spoiling That just didn't work against someone like Joe who throws so many damn punches for 12 rounds.

 

What should be the term to refer to people who stalk certain fighters on the forum?
