Just rewatched Collazo/Berto. Collazo won the fight, close but CLEAR.

Apart from the 7th round, the Leaderman card was absolutely 100% spot on. No way could you give the rounds in different ways.

Collazo SCHOOLED Berto on the inside ALL NIGHT and the exchanges on the outside were hardly in Berto's favour the majority of the time.

The 116-111 judge should be shot. Collazo was jobbed out of that fight because Berto is HBO's poster boy.

    No rematch? DISGRACE.

I had it 114-113 Collazo but I cant argue with 114-113 Berto, thats 1 swing round. If Collazo just wins the 12th round he wins anyways, thats why they call them championship rounds. rematch might still happen

I don't see how it's possible to give Berto 1 more round. Giving him that many rounds anyway is a stretch. That fight made a a mockery of compubox. Berto wasted so many punches it was unbelievable. Then you have to subtract the ones Collazo blocked and Berto's connect rate was way down.

I had it 114-113 Berto. 115-113 without that ridiculous point deduction.

    LMFAO.

The point deduction should have been followed up with more point deductions!

Berto has NO INSIDE GAME. All he did was hold.... hold... hold... while Collazo schooled him with hooks to the head and body.

The ref should have taken off more points. The same was evident in the Urango match. Except Urango is probably the most limited boxer in that weight range at the moment and doesn't have anywhere near the inside game Collazo does.

I had Collazo by 2 rounds but I thought the point deduction was harsh.

Can you give what rounds you gave to Collazo?

Negative. See above. Berto has NO INSIDE GAME. All he does is hold. He did it for 4 rounds = point deduction after warning. More points should have been taken.

Didn't write it down. Same as Harold apart from 7th, which Berto threw enough punches (missing most of them) to edge out Collazo.

    Here's my scorecard.

For the 1st round. Besides the off balance flash punch by Collazo. Berto won the rest of round. Was winning the beginning and won the end with some flush crisp shots that stunned Collazo.

    1. 10-9 Berto
    2. 10-9 Berto
    3. 9-10 Collazo
    4. 8-10 Collazo
    5. 10-9 Berto
    6. 10-9 Berto
    7. 10-9 Berto
    8. 10-9 Berto
    9. 9-10 Collazo
    10. 9-10 Collazo
    11. 10-9 Berto
    12. 10-9 Berto

I have to agree that Collazo won. HBO just didn't want to lose their up and coming superstars perfect record. It's a damn shame. Collazo could hang with any of the elite ww fighters. A rematch IS in order.

Ummm....No. Watch the 1st again. I just did. 1st minute not a lot happened, Berto landed a right hand that did **** all. Collazo then STAGGERED Berto with a good straight left hand. Berto was stunned and held CONSTANTLY for the next minute. Berto then came back with a very nice right hand but Collazo either blocked or dodged the next 6 or so shots. Against the ropes Berto then landed a hook and two more good right hands. However, Collazo was never hurt as when Berto was staggered. Collazo then went on to win the remaining 45 seconds of the round with good jabs and left hands (40 secs and just after). Collazo hitting Berto to the body frequently to close out the round as Berto tries to hold numerous times.

...6th was a hard round to score. Reason being Berto was tagging Collazo with some good shots for the first minute but I think people need to actual watch closely Berto's shots. He makes a lot of noise but many of them do not land cleanly at all. The remainder of the round involved Collazo schooling Berto on the inside and a good uppercut from Berto.....
