Yea i forgot that he did say that but i just think if his eye was not ****ed up Toni would beat him again.
The last round was according to Garcia Margarita's best round of the night...yet he still got the shiit beat out of him!!! You are delusional by saying he was coming on strong ...he was simply getting more desperate and eating more leather!!! If you call that coming on strong then you're an ignorant Moron!!!
Cotto thanks Pacquaio everyday for breaking Margarito eye in the first place. Cotto would have deja vu had not for the help of Pacquiao.
There are several reasons why the second fight was different than the first. Judging by the comments, there are still a few Burger King hamburger flippers who think they know boxing, but in actuality they don't know ****. I'll try and dumb it down for you drooling imbeciles. 1. In their first fight, they both used 8oz gloves. In the second fight, they used 10oz gloves. And correct me if I am wrong, but even before their 2nd fight, certain weight classes are mandated to wear specific gloves as far as weight goes. So 154lbers cannot wear less than 10oz gloves. 2. In the first fight, Cotto didn't tie up or run as much. In the second fight, Cotto would punch Margarito and literally run across the ring and out of harms way. He also grabbed and clinched anytime Margarito got close to him. I'm sure even you burger flippers can deduce from those facts that it would equate to less punches landing on Cotto's face. 3. Margarito never got discouraged and it would have been interesting to see if he could have stopped Cotto after the 9th round. Margarito had Cotto on the ropes towards the end of the 9th and when the bell sounded, you could see Margarito shouting and motioning something to the effect that Cotto was slowing down or getting ready to QUIT again. Either way, the fight was stopped by the doctor and not by Margarito or his team. In fact, Margarito was imploring them to give him another round. If it had been Kneegal Cotto, he would have taken a knee and quit again. No need to ask him what he would have done when the going got tough.
And when was this exactly? In the final round of the fight, Margarito didn't land a signal significant blow. It boggles my mind to hear people say that "Tony was coming on strong" or that was his "best round of the fight." Dude's punches had no snap on them, he wasn't landing anything, and he was getting tagged repeatedly.
It boggles mine when you say **** like this ^. If that is true, why was Cotto running for dear life or hugging like a horny octopus? I get it. Margarito must have showered using an Axe product, huh?
Fact is...Cotto beat the **** out of Margarita!!! Borrowed from Mosley's playbook!!! Margarita isn't **** without the plaster wraps you know it and the whole world knows it!!! Watch it again with your brain engaged!!!
Damn there's some stupid people out there... Yeah sure the second fight was just like the first except that Cotto won because he was able to plant his feet at moments to land with significance, Cotto was never inexplicably bleeding form the eyes and ears, not even the mouth, and face did not look like a bloody mask. Margarato was never asked by his trainer "how's the punch?" Margarato was pummeled, and Margarato was never photographed with blood inexplicably coming from inside his wraps around the knuckle area...other than that, completely the same. I don't who's more pathetic, the Margarato fans, or the *******s who support Margarato and his fans just to make their ******* God look better.
Now this is just being stupid. Everything I stated was the truth. The only thing you can debate is whether Margarito's punches had any snap on them or not. Though, I'm willing to bet most, (including the commentators who were ringside and stated as much), would agree that Margarito's punches didn't have any real snap on them at that point. The man was reduced to throwing arm punches. You can say Cotto was "running for dear life" or "hugging like a horny toad" all you want. But the fact remains, Cotto was the one landing hard, crisp shots that were snapping Margarito's head back. Tony on the other hand, landed nothing of significance. He looked like a gunslinger who had been stripped of his ammunition.
